Get a wiggle on and Walk for the Wards

2nd July 2021

Join us in supporting Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care! After a tough year for fundraising events due to COVID-19, we’re looking forward to Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care’s ‘Walk for the Wards’ on Sunday 18 July. And there’s also a virtual event …

This year, the ‘Walk for the Wards’ event is starting and finishing at Waverley Abbey School, Tilford, Farnham, GU10 2AE. You can choose whether you do the five or ten mile route – either way you’ll enjoy some prime Surrey countryside.

Entry is FREE and every participant receives a Phyllis Tuckwell ‘Walk for the Wards’ T-Shirt. The aim is to raise a minimum of £25 per person – and, of course, having fun is an absolute MUST!

It promises to be a great day for the hundreds of participants and there will be prizes for those who raise the most.

And if we haven’t persuaded you to join in yet, you will also receive a tasty ice cream at the end for all your efforts!

We hope to see you there – joining details below!

Virtual ‘Walk for the Wards’

If you are unable to take part in the live event, don’t worry you can still join in by signing up for your own Virtual ‘Walk for the Wards’.

You choose the route, the distance and gain sponsorship to do your own walk on either 17 or 18 July (or alternatively, pick a day which works for you!).

You will receive a ‘Walk for the Wards’ t-shirt to wear on the day.

While entry is free, you need to aim to raise a minimum of £25 per person.
