Wise and Co. is an established eight-partner Practice based in Farnham, Surrey. The Practice culture is dynamic and enthusiastic with the team being energetic and friendly. Our client base ranges from the small sole trader to the large limited companies with turnover in excess of £40 million.
We describe ourselves as 'business advisers', as much of our work with clients goes well beyond proactive commercial and taxation advice. In addition to assisting with accounts, auditing and tax, we also find ourselves involved in management consultancy, strategic planning, corporate finance and due diligence projects.
Clients cover a wide geographic radius from Farnham, throughout the south of England. Our location provides easy access to main roads, railway stations and airports.
Trainees are recruited annually to study for ACA, ACCA and AAT qualifications. Fees for training courses with Kaplan Financial and BPP – two of the top UK tutors – together with examination costs at first sitting, are fully funded.

Academic requirements for trainee accountants
Although the majority of trainee accountants are studying to be Chartered Accountants, Wise & Co. also recruits staff undertaking their Certified Accountant's exams and Accounting Technician exams.
Our minimum entry requirements for a Chartered Accountants' training contract are:
- 2 – 1 Relevant Degree or AAT Qualified
- two B grades and one C grade at A level
- A or B GCSEs in English Language and Maths
Our minimum entry requirements for AAT training are:
- two B grades and one C grade at A level
- A or B GCSEs in English Language and Maths
If you apply for AAT training we would support your progression from AAT to ACA or ACCA.
Qualified Accountants - NO PRESENT VACANCIES
There are opportunities for qualified accountants with a Practice background to take on supervisory or management positions. The firm prides itself in offering career opportunities to the right individuals, demonstrated by the fact that a number of our present equity partners started with the firm as trainees. We are particularly interested in encouraging your personal development as well as your technical skills and would welcome discussing your interests and needs both at interview and throughout your career with us.
Tax Specialists - We are currently looking for a CTA qualified Corporate Tax Manager. The department offers a wide variety of services to clients, giving ample opportunity to expand on tax experience and knowledge. When we have trainee vacancies, we offer full training support for tax qualifications and would welcome an enquiry from you. However, we have no trainee tax vacancies at present.
